ALCATEL ONE TOUCH announced that the ONE TOUCH SMART 916 has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2012. It's the second time that ALCATEL ONE TOUCH won Red Dot Design Award.

The ONE TOUCH SMART 916 wowed the jury out of 4,515 designs with the exceptional quality of its design concept, which focuses on formal elegance and the classic simplicity of its interface.

The design of the ONE TOUCH SMART 916 was inspired by the simplified social networking lifestyle. With the perfect QWERTY keyboard and the 2.6 inches landscape capacitive touch screen, it makes the phone ideal for fast messaging and easy access to the built-in social networking tools.

The red dot award has established itself internationally as one of the most appreciated quality seals for outstanding designs. Only the very best will be awarded.

ALCATEL ONE TOUCH also won the award with two phones in 2011, the ONE TOUCH 818 and ONE TOUCH PLAY 355.
